Session Title: Accelerate you transition to the Cloud with NetApp Solutions and Technologies

Description:

Data Management is more than a technology choice today—it provide a framework how companies will do business in the future. Companies are seeking ways to accelerate innovation by taking advantage of technology trends such as cloud, object storage, open source, converged infrastructures, virtualization, flash, containers, and software-defined storage.

Hybrid cloud deployment models, a combinations of private and public cloud resources, are becoming the new normal for enterprise IT organizations. This will require companies to have a “Data Management Strategy for Hybrid Cloud” adoption. The hybrid cloud model is expected to dominate data management for the foreseeable future. NetApp answer to Hybrid Cloud adoption is Data Fabric.

Data Fabric framework is NetApp’s vision for the future of data management. It enables customers to respond and innovate more quickly because data is free to be accessed where it is needed most. It gives organization’s IT the flexibility to choose the right set of resources to meet the needs of their applications and the freedom to change them whenever they want. This helps Organizations to realize the full potential of your hybrid cloud and make the best decisions for the business. NetApp will be discussing a case study on the benefits of Data Fabric framework for Hybrid Cloud.

Session Title: A New Era of Cyber Threats: The Shift to Self Learning, Self Defending Networks

Description:

From insiders to sophisticated external attackers, the reality of cyber security today is that the threat is already inside. A fundamentally new approach to cyber defense is needed to detect and investigate these threats that are already inside the network - before they turn into a full-blown crisis.

Based on unsupervised machine learning and probabilistic mathematics developed by specialists from the University of Cambridge, new ‘immune system’ technologies are capable of learning the ‘self’ of an organization. By analyzing every network, device, and user, and modeling them as they go about their day-to-day activity, the Enterprise Immune System can establish a highly accurate understanding of normal behavior. It can therefore spot abnormal activity as it emerges, and even take precise, measured actions to automatically curb the threat.

Rules and signatures are not keeping pace with today’s rapidly evolving cyber attacks. The Enterprise Immune System represents a fundamental step-change in automated cyber defense, is relied upon by organizations around the world, and can cover up to millions of devices.

Key Takeaways

· Leveraging machine learning and AI algorithms to defend against advanced, never-seen-before, cyber-threats
· How new immune system technologies enable you to pre-empt emerging threats and reduce incident response time
· How to achieve 100% visibility of your entire business including cloud, network and IoT environments
· Why automation and autonomous response is enabling security teams to neutralize in-progress attacks, prioritise resources, and tangibly lower risk
· Real-world examples of subtle, unknown threats that routinely bypass traditional controls
